Allied Veterinary Specialists (AVS) of Daytona Beach, Florida is searching for an energized board-certified surgeon or residency-trained veterinarian to join our 24-hour care specialty center. AVS’ owners are well established with an exceptional reputation having served the North Florida and South Georgia communities for over 14 years.
Exceptional interpersonal skills are a must as our group is a fun and young, energetic team that is highly focused on outstanding patient care, exemplary client and referring veterinarian service, and progressive growth. We are interested in adding a team member who can integrate into a synergistic hospital that provides the highest quality of medicine while maintaining our focus on work-life balance. Additionally, we are active with continuing education seminars in the community and lunch-and-learns within our referring veterinarian’s hospitals. We are a privately owned practice with the support of over 400 referring veterinarians.
AVS Daytona Beach is equipped with a complete array of orthopedic, neurologic, and soft tissue instrumentation. Surgeons also have the ability to perform arthroscopy, laparoscopy, and thoracoscopy. Additionally, AVS utilizes digital radiology, color-flow doppler ultrasound, flexible and rigid endoscopy, a complete laboratory, oxygen cages, CT scan, off-site MRI, and a full-service diagnostic and therapeutic emergency service that has been established for over 12 years. AVS offers one of the most competitive salaries in the nation and an extensive benefits package.
Daytona Beach is a historic and progressive city located on the Atlantic Ocean of central Florida with easy access to Orlando, Jacksonville, Gainesville, Palm Coast, St. Augustine, and Cocoa Beach. Daytona Beach is known for the Daytona International Speedway, which hosts the iconic Daytona 500 NASCAR race. The vast amount of beach offers regions of hard-packed sand where driving is permitted.
