What\'s Available: 1.0 FTE (40 hours/week) Shift: Monday-Friday, Rotating Weekends Location: Onalaska, WI and West Salem, WI Department: Pharmacy What do you need: Bachelor\'s degree in Pharmacy from an accredited School of Pharmacy Pharmacists working in outpatient pharmacy settings need immunization certification through an accredited organization or school of pharmacy (e.g. APhA, PSW) Pharmacist license to practice in the state of employment, some positions may require multiple state licenses. Pharmacists working in outpatient pharmacy settings need A current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (with hands on learning) from one of the following programs; American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Job Description: The Pharmacist provides pharmaceutical care for our patients. Works with and supervises all manufacturing and compounding in the pharmacy. Major Responsibilities: 1. Prepares and/or maintains written control over medication dispensing and manufacturing. Understands and uses pharmacy reference material for drug information. Maintains adequate inventory of pharmaceuticals and other supplies. 2. Interprets, clarifies, and evaluates appropriateness of medication orders for physicians and others credentialed or privileged to prescribe medication. 3. Is competent in providing care to all age categories of patients served, modifying drug therapy as appropriate for the neonatal, pediatric, adult, and elderly populations. 4.
