The Quality Inspector duties include a wide range of activities related to ensuring all work is completed accurately within specified time frames and making sure high levels of customer service and satisfaction are always provided. A hands-on approach to work is expected, being extremely detailed oriented and flexible to required department tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Pick order by reading pick tickets, label and complete necessary paperwork to achieve agreed turn-round targets
- Pack orders as required by BJG work instructions or specific customer requirements
- Perform Cycle Counting, Inventory control and vendor management inventory
- Receive deliveries, check quantities, check receiving documentation
- Relocate inspected components as required by BJG work instructions
- Order and replenish consumables
- Correctly operate barcode scanners in order picking and relocating processes
- Participate in forklift certification, recertification as required
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Hands on inspection of all products, components, and assemblies.
- Develop Quality team members
- Motivate the team to ensure maximum performance levels
- Cable assembly technical subject matter expert
- Achieves quality objectives by monitoring day-to-day activities, identifying, and addressing gaps and problems' completing audits' implementing change and providing regular feedback to the Quality Manager.
- Ensure staff compliance with IPC 620 & J STD procedures and processes
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2-5 years of experience in an electronic distribution center warehouse or equivalent
- Computer literate: Microsoft Office, UPS World Ship, FedEx Ship Manager
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and perform specified tasks
- Ability to work independently, multi-task and prioritize work load
- Ability to count accurately and verify others work
- Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting material or equipment (50lbs) some of which may be heavy or awkward
Job Type: Full Time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
