Summary About the Position: Serves as Tasking Specialist working in Operations and Tasking Division, G33 Current Operations, Deputy Chief of Staff G-3/5/7. Applies a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the operational, organizational and functional missions and relationships between Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), Headquarters, Department of the Army (HQDA), Combatant Commands, and subordinate elements in the coordination and execution of the TRADOC tasking functions. Responsibilities Receives mission requirements, from internal and external sources (Department of the Army (DA), executive agents, major commands (MACOMs), TRADOC major subordinate commands, TRADOC internal elements, etc.). Builds requirements, processes requirements, verifies data entry of requirements and performs quality control on requirements submitted to HQDA for resourcing. Employs current knowledge and understanding of staff missions and project requirements as well as a thorough understanding of the Command's goals and intent orchestrating critical, highly complex, and frequently sensitive actions Establishes personal contacts with counterpart tasking lead staff action agents and their respective immediate supervisors for exchanging information and ensuring rapid processing of information to meet short suspense tasking requirements. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
