RUSH Oak Park Hospital, a community hospital located in the western suburbs of Chicago, and partner with RUSH University Medical Center invites applications for the position of Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). RUSH Hospitals are nationally recognized clinical and academic institution and the teaching hospitals for RUSH Medical and Nursing colleges.
RUSH is currently recruiting for several Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA) to join their team. The CRNA will function under the medical direction of the anesthesiologist with regard to pre-anesthetic, anesthetic and post-anesthetic patient management.

Flexible Schedule/Parking/Call:
- Shifts available are 8's and10's, and your schedule can be tailored to your specific needs. This benefit is highly beneficial and unique, facilitating your lifestyle away from the operating room. Additionally, our CRNAs are relieved on-time majority of the time for their slated shifts and not on a "waterfall tear-off" system
- Parking is free, and call requirement includes no in-house call with no OB/Cardiac/Neuro coverage. Additionally, you are paid to carry your pager whilst on-call, and you are paid a call-rate if you are called in.
- As a faculty member, the CRNA will clinically educate as a preceptor for SRNAs.
- Rush offers all SRNAs the SRNA Grant and Service Agreement. Up to one year before starting on with Rush as an CRNA, students are eligible for a grant to help pay for the cost of their education.
- Illinois Nurse Educator Loan Repayment Program- $5,000 of loan forgiveness per year up to four years total.
- Rush offers competitive pay with regular reviews and performance-based raises thereafter.
- Rush matches 100% of the employee's contribution to their tradition retirement savings fund, up to 6% of pay deferred into the plan.
- 457(b) plan open to CRNAs - this equates to an additional sum of tax-deferred savings equivalent and in addition to the yearly limit for your 403(b).
- Comprehensive medical, dental, disability, flex-spending, and vision benefits. Other benefits available such as parental leave and disability leave benefits, which would include 100% salary continuation immediately upon birth of your child or experiencing disability.
- $50,000 fertility benefit to cover fertility- related treatments
- 208 hours per year of paid time-off are offered to full-time CRNAs in addition to our 7 recognized paid holidays. Part-time CRNAs receive pro-rated time-off based on their FTE. All your hours are available to utilize once you start working-you do not have to accrue time.
- $2,000 per year for continuing medical education is available for CRNAs, as well as $1,500 every three years for maintenance of licenses and certifications in addition to one workweek off per year for seminars/professional meetings. Rush also hosts weekly grand rounds that counts for one class "A" CEU-free. Additionally, every day precepting an SRNA counts as a class "B" credit.
- Provide anesthesia for a variety of cases in both an inpatient outpatient setting.
- The CRNA will function as a faculty member and supervise SRNAs in the nurse anesthesia program.
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program.
- Current IL RN/APN license.
- CPR and ACLS.
