Description

This is a part-time position, Monday through Friday, with flexible 3-hour shifts during our daytime hours (5:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.).

Pay

$13.89 - $15.20 per hour

Job Summary

Cleaning, sanitizing, wet and dust mopping, scrubbing, polishing, trash removal and supply stocking, in locker room facilities, restroom facilities, group fitness studios, hallways and gymnasiums. Additional duties may include vacuuming, window washing, meeting set up, trash removal and other related general cleaning responsibilities.

Requirements

1. High energy and attention to detail.

2. Ability to positively interact with members, guests, and fellow staff.

3. Six months or more of related experience preferred.

4. Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment and ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents.

5. Basic understanding of the upkeep and care of equipment and cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use, along with the ability to report and record maintenance requests.

Physical Demands

1. Sufficient physical strength and agility to carry out essential duties.

2. Ability to lift at least 20 pounds; erect and stand on ladders and platforms at heights up to 6 feet; work with paint, cleaning equipment, chemical compounds, solvents, cleaners, and solutions in dry, liquid, powder, spray, and aerosol forms.

3. Ability to paint, clean equipment, and operate motorized equipment as needed.

4. Ability to work in conditions that will create dirt and dust.

5. Ability to perform essential maintenance to facility or equipment which may involve, but not limited to the following activities: semi - reaching to full-reach overhead; crouching; kneeling; carrying, working in narrow and/or confining spaces, overhead or ground level; twisting at the waist, shoulders, and legs; and lying on stomach and/or back.
