Description

POSITION PURPOSE

The Builder Support Representative perform various customer service functions to assist and support builders by telephone, email, or text. This position primarily supports builders on processing orders and scheduling field work when needed. This position ensures a high level of customer satisfaction by being very responsive and proactive to bridge gaps in the builders communication.
POSITION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Functions
  1. Communicate with pool builders via phone, text and/or email
  2. Schedule installs and service for pool builders
  3. Produce quotes auto covers, replacement covers, fences and service as needed
  4. Proactive daily follow up of outstanding items (i.e. color, motor side, etc.)
  5. Ordering new systems and replacement fabrics from APC
  6. Ordering new systems for retail customers
  7. Communicating with and supporting Area Managers and Technicians
  8. Work with Area Mangers to maintain bulk inventory in each market
  9. Set up new builders in the ERP
SECONDARY FUNCTIONS
  1. Proactive outreach to builders (i.e. brochures, fabric samples needed)
  2. Monitor and communicate builder specific sales trends
  3. Assist Inside Sales in maintaining CRM data
  4. Provide construction specs as needed to support the Area Manager
  5. Assist accounting with invoice related questions
  6. Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have the following education and/or experience.
  1. High School Diploma/GED
  2. Sales experience preferred
  3. Industry experience preferred
  4. Customer service experience preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  5. Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages).
  6. Advanced problem-solving abilities.
  7. Excellent customer service skills.
  8. Proficiency using Microsoft Office, Access, MAS 200, and the Internet.
  9. Ability to input detailed and accurate data into computers with strong attention to detail.
  10. Proficiency using email, phones and texting.
  11. Ability to prioritize, organize, manage time effectively, and multitask.
  12. Ability to work as part of a team.
  13. Ability to work additional hours beyond eight hours per day and weekends as required.
  14. Good speaking and listening skills.
