Principal, Business Intelligence Data Analyst - Client Health Group Technology

The Team
The Workplace Investments (WI) - Healthcare Group (HCG) team is seeking a highly motivated Business Intelligence Data Analyst to help drive data analysis and visualization for a Scrum-team working on Health Care data enablement and analytics.
We are looking for a data practitioner with a deep passion for data and the technical chops to discover, analyze, prep, and visualize data to deliver insights.
This individual must have a proven track record of collaborating with business partners, understanding business requirements, translating business requirements into system requirements, working with data in databases, and creating visualization dashboards utilizing industry leading tools.
This individual will work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, Data Engineers, and Quality Assurance Engineers.
The Expertise You Have
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science, engineering, information systems, or statistics.
6+ years of Systems Development Data Analysis experience, ideally working in an Agile Scrum environment, with demonstrable ability to work across multiple multi-functional teams.
Strong expertise as a data practitioner collaborating with data engineers, data scientists, architects, and quality assurance engineers.
Solid understanding of the Client business with work experience in health care and/or benefits administration and/or product development
Shown expertise in various technical analysis methodologies and techniques, including use case development, story writing, data analysis, data visualization, user acceptance testing, and product documentation.
Fluent in PL/SQL with demonstrated ability to write complex queries and wrangle on multiple database platforms.
Experience with ETL data pipelines using Oracle, PostgreSQL, Cosmos DB, and Oracle databases.
Strong cloud Enterprise data lake (EDL) experience. Snowflake preferred.
Expert in creating and modifying analytic dashboards using visualization tools such as PowerBI or Tableau to provide actionable insights.
Experience working with healthcare or financial data is a plus.

Define the scope of problems/issues, in terms of business and/or system requirements and processes.
Evaluating design of existing and in-development systems to assess their functionality, dependability, and maintainability.
Ensure complete acceptance test criteria is provided for all systems requirements.
Leading and conducting data analysis to formulate and make recommendations.
Identifying and defining solutions to business problems, through creation and documentation of systems and process specifications
Creating, documenting, and leading scrum team backlog (writing user stories / acceptance criteria, supporting prioritization, running refinement sessions, etc.)
Partner with teammates to discover the best locations to source data, to help design data models, to document data workflows and measurement reporting for deployed implementations.
Collaborate closely with business partners, development teams, external vendors, and QA on plans, project management, requirements, design, testing, and implementation of solutions throughout the development lifecycle.
Supporting deployment, business readiness, and solution enablement, e.g., defining, and documenting enablement tasks, supporting user procedure documentation, creation, and delivery of solution training to internal teams, and communication
Prioritize multiple initiatives and analysis tasks at the same time.
Partner with teammates to ensure that all project artifacts (requirements, data summarization, data flow, and user training) are detailed and posted to the team confluence site.
