JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage a designated book of Personal Lines insurance business; Develop and maintain relationships with high-net-worth clientele.
  • Identify risk exposures and place applicable coverage.
  • Provide day-to-day client services including coverage analysis, renewal marketing, and development of strategic personal risk management programs.
  • Understand the regulations governing Personal Lines insurance.
  • Compile and prepare marketing and underwriting data.
  • Review quotations, policies, endorsements, and audits for accuracy.
  • Prepare binders, certificates, automobile ID cards, and similar deliverables.
  • Meet with clients and correspond professionally via email and telephone.
  • Organize underwriting information, correspondence, and other pertinent information in our agency management system.
  • Pursue a program of personal and professional development.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as needed.
  • Work a full-time ‘hybrid’ schedule with 2 to 4 days per week on-site.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Property & Casualty Insurance license is required.
  • A high school diploma is required; College degree is preferred.
  • 3+ years’ experience in a similar capacity is required.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet projected deadlines.
  • Ability to complete continuing education requirements.
  • Ability to comply with all company policies and procedures, proactively protecting confidentiality of client and company information.
  • Ability to attend company, department and team meetings including industry training sessions.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team and exercise independent judgement.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
TECHNOLOGY
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) experience is required.
  • Applied EPIC or other agency management software experience is preferred yet not required.
