ExecuSource has an outstanding opportunity for a Senior level Manager of Trade Planning & Execution. This is a direct hire, hybrid opportunity available in Smithfield VA. Our client offers top-of-line benefits, competitive pay and bonus, as well as an attractive relocation package.

This person will be the SME for trade management and will facilitate the creation of sound pricing and promotion plans by Sales Managers and Brokers. This role will own the collaborative review process to secure approval of account plans and individual agreements.

Compensation: $140k - 175k + 25% bonus

Core Responsibilities

  • Direct the Trade Planning team to create customer pricing and trade plans for key customers
  • Understand the dynamics between pricing and trade spending for all key customers
  • Help the team learn how to apply syndicated data and post-promotion analytic tools for insights and smarter plans
  • Serve as liaison between Sales team and internal teams for plan creation and approval
  • Create and communicate company policies, objectives, and goals to field sales regarding pricing, promotion, and trade planning
  • Support Sales in driving company initiatives and develop Incremental Funding Requests and slotting ROIs as needed
  • Track all trade spending reports and plans and facilitate plan roll-up and fund close-out processes
  • Utilize technical skills to perform promotion analysis and be a Super User of trade promotion management software systems
  • Provide process improvement recommendations to foster a culture of planning excellence
  • Lead the development process for the team to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree required preferably in Marketing, Finance, or Business Administration
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a position of leadership to include team development and management, required. 8+ years preferred.
  • MUST have worked in Consumer Packaged Goods industry. Perishable foods experience preferred.
