American Health Imaging is seeking a full-time Paramedic/EMT to sit onsite and facilitate contrast injections at our Summerville, SC facility.

Shift: Monday - Friday, 8am-4pm

Job Description:

If confronted with an adverse event (contrast reaction, infiltration or situation that requires the radiologist), the Paramedic should immediately use the Teams audio/video functionality to alert the supervising radiologist. The radiologist will assist with assessment of the patient and provide appropriate treatment instruction, including any medication administration. It is also the responsibility of the on-site contractor to ensure 911 has been called when necessary.

Items listed must be complete prior to onsite coverage.
  • Provides documentation of Certificate of Liability Insurance and current medical license.
  • Completes MRI Safety Screening form
  • Review of Emergency Response and MRI Safety training
Requirements:
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Previous experience as a certified Paramedic
  • Must be able and willing to travel between imaging sites as needed
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
