Job Description: Chief Information Security Officer

We are in search of a dynamic Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to join our team and lead our global information security efforts. As we continue to evolve and innovate, we recognize the critical importance of cybersecurity in today's complex threat environment. Reporting directly to the Chief Legal Officer (CLO), the CISO will play a pivotal role in implementing and managing our enterprise-wide information security program.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct a comprehensive assessment of our current cyber organization, including personnel, processes, and technology.

- Develop a strategic roadmap to enhance our information security posture, prioritizing areas of risk and ensuring a proactive approach to cybersecurity.

- Establish clear milestones and performance metrics to measure progress and communicate effectively with the board and key stakeholders.

- Keep the board and executive leadership team informed about the latest cyber threats, issues, and initiatives.

- Collaborate closely with technology and business partners to formulate a robust information security strategy that aligns with our business objectives.

- Engage with business stakeholders to raise awareness of risk management concerns and ensure alignment with information security practices.

- Provide guidance on technology planning to support a secure environment and facilitate business growth.

- Work closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including SOX, GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI/DSS.

- Lead initiatives to implement modern security standards, particularly in the context of cloud migration and application development.

- Drive the adoption and optimization of cyber tool sets, identifying opportunities for automation and streamlining processes.

- Provide support for business expansion activities, including due diligence and risk assessment.

- Maintain strong relationships with industry peers and relevant threat intelligence sources to stay abreast of emerging cyber threats.

Qualifications:

- 15+ years of demonstrated experience in senior leadership roles in risk management, information security, and IT infrastructure.

- A Master's degree in business administration or a technology-related field, or equivalent work experience.

- Certification in relevant credentials such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CRISC.

- In-depth knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements pertaining to information security, privacy, and data protection.

- Familiarity with information security management frameworks and methodologies, such as ISO/IEC 27001, ITIL, COBIT, NIST, and Cybersecurity Framework.

- Strong business acumen and the ability to articulate the impact of cybersecurity on business objectives.

- Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.

- Proven ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
