At Fetch, we strive to provide thorough and effective care to our patients, and we accomplish this by fostering a supportive and nurturing work environment for our team members.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with the triage, stabilization, and medical treatment of emergency patients under the direction of a veterinarian
  • Perform diagnostic tests, such as blood work and radiographs, and interpret results to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning
  • Administer medications, fluids, and treatments as directed by a veterinarian
  • Maintain thorough and accurate medical records for each patient
  • Monitor patients during hospitalization and report changes in condition to the veterinary staff
  • Communicate patient treatment plans and instructions to pet owners
  • Provide emotional support and education to pet owners during difficult and stressful times

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certification as a Veterinary Technician is preferred
  • Previous experience as a Emergency Technician is preferred
  • Excellent technical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle and restrain animals of various sizes and temperaments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Flexibility with work schedule, including availability for on-call, weekend shifts ad holidays
