Job Title: Assembly Technician 2

Job Description

As an Assembly Technician 2, you will produce components by assembling parts and subassemblies. Your role includes preparing work by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists, as well as gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials. With minimal training, you will assemble assemblies/equipment using a set of tools and a drawing, blueprint, and/or work instructions. This position requires someone who is mechanically inclined, a quick learner, and can efficiently follow and pick up on processes.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Austin, Texas.

Work Environment

This role operates in various departments including cleanroom manufacturing, warehouse, and office environments, primarily within the manufacturing area. Shifts available are 1st Shift (6am - 2:30pm) and 2nd Shift (2:30pm - 11pm). The role requires wearing a full cleanroom suit and following strict safety and quality standards. You may be exposed to hazards such as electrical currents, moving mechanical parts, and chemicals. The environment also involves exposure to different noise levels.
