Displays Associate

Overview

As a Displays Associate, you will build sample products from existing ideas, and help to develop new ideas. The Display department will be responsible for all material shipment of sample product and associated literature.

Responsibilities

Duties to include, (but not limited to):
  • Assists management with the day-to-day operations, while ensuring daily order fulfillment and distribution of displays and samples
  • Maintains inventory control over displays materials
  • Cutting Material down to specific sample sizes per display and/or sample.
  • Build, per drawing, displays for Wausau Supply and customers
  • Assists team in adjusting equipment and quality control.
  • Assembles displays and demonstrates sample products, while ensuring highest level of quality, prior to customer release.
  • Ensure displays and samples are packaged to avoid any shipping damage
Qualifications

A Displays Associate will possess and/or demonstrate the ability to:
  • Remain highly organized, flexible and able to react well to immediate issues with attention to detail and deadlines.
  • Manage time, multi-task and prioritize work.
  • Obtain and display basic math
  • Prioritize tasks and help develop departmental efficiencies and process improvements.
  • Run a table saw and other types of saws.
  • Use of power tools. (Routers, miter saws, air guns, etc.)
  • Read a drawing and a tape measure.
Education / Experience:
  • High school diploma and 1 year related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Working Demands / Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment to meet company metrics.
  • Home Show Travel when needed.

Conclusion: The Displays Associate will exemplify the high standards that have come to be associated with WSC. As an ESOP owner, acting with honor, integrity, and positivity is imperative. The Displays Associate's prime objective is to oversee the general performance and distribution of displays and samples. Also, to ensure quality standards remain uncompromised.
