Registered Nurse (RN) - Outpatient Clinic Job Responsibilities:
  • Patient Care: Provide direct nursing care to patients in the outpatient clinic, including administering medications, performing assessments, and managing care plans.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care, ensuring they understand their care instructions.
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends or extended hours as needed.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and follow-up.
  • Documentation: Accurately document patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
  • Triage: Conduct patient triage, assess the urgency of care needs, and prioritize patient treatment based on clinical guidelines.
Qualifications:
  • Licensure: Current and unrestricted RN license in the state of South Carolina.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 years of nursing experience, preferably in an outpatient or clinic setting.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
  • Skills: Strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
