This role will report work at the Professional Logistics Services (PLS Center). Shift: Monday through Friday, 9 AM - 5:30 PM. Overtime may be required based on business needs. We are looking for associates who: Drive company truck(s) with great care, assuring compliance with all prevailing traffic laws and legal speed limits, and safety protocol. Deliver products varying in size to different sites by following procedures (e.g. adherence to driver manifest and documentation). Provides associates with possible solutions and/or appropriate contact information when problems arise; reports observations of customer opportunities and problems to the Warehouse Manager. Loads and unloads materials from truck in an accurate, efficient, and safe manner, utilizing proper body mechanics and proper equipment (e.g., forklift). Receive and check in deliveries, pickups and returns to insure quality and quantity of products. Cut wire, rod, or strut, safely utilizing the appropriate equipment. Sweep floors remove trash and otherwise maintain the warehouse in a tidy and safe condition. Pick, pack, and ship orders. Orders range from a small box to pallets. Record losses of damaged or defective materials. What you bring: Valid CDL( commercial driver's license) and be able to pass MVR (motor vehicle record) Ability to climb into and drive delivery vehicles. Ability to unload material at customer site, including heavy and bulky items. Willingness to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jack, and power tools. You will also use push carts and rolling ladders. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation. Ability to be on your stand for extended periods and traverse the warehouse with or without accommodation. Basic problem-solving skills and computer skills.
