Under the direction of the Director of Diagnostic Imaging and in conjunction with the radiologists, the Radiology Supervisor ensures service development, personnel management and resource allocation and control in order to support and enhance patient care. Responsible for the productivity of all employees during the week. Aids in the preparation of the schedules and data pulls for tracking and reporting. Aids in the orientation of new employees and oversees the students sent by outside colleges/programs. Aids in direct/indirect communication with employees during disciplinary actions and promotes an enthusiastic atmosphere with all employees. Other duties as assigned. On call shifts required at the discretion of the Radiology Director.

Qualifications

Education: Graduate of a school of Radiologic Technology. Associates Degree or Diploma required.

Experience: Five years progressive experience in Radiology with at least one year Lead Tech experience.

Licenses/Certifications: A current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification; BLS certification.
