Mammography Technologist - Weekend Option 1 - Days Location: York Hospital, York, PA Schedule: PRN/Per Diem PRN Weekend Days Saturday 6:45am-3:15pm General Summary Performs routine and special mammography procedures according to established practices and procedures. Duties and Responsibilities Performs mammography studies; obtains patient history; explains routine procedures and addresses patient concerns. Under the direction of a Team Leader, is responsible for training other technicians/technologists, certifying that techs meet competencies. Maintains department quality assurance program. Positions patients safely and comfortably and explains basic procedure. Prepares and maintains written documentation as required by the profession and the department. Schedules cases to coordinate with other patient examinations. Performs the duties of Radiographer as needed. Required for All Jobs: Performs other related duties as identified. Qualifications Minimum Education: Associates Degree Required Work Experience: 3 years Relevant experience. Required Licenses: Registered Technologist-Mammography - ARRT Upon Hire Required and Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required Courses and Training: Accredited program in radiologic technology and training in mammography procedures.
