KBR’s National Security Solutions team provides high-end engineering and advanced technology solutions to our customers in the intelligence and national security communities. KBR Is looking for a Technical Team Lead (Senior Systems Engineer), You will be leading a small team that specializes in developing and integrating a dynamic test environment for the purpose of supporting both internal and external customers. With your experience in networking, you will be architecting complex solutions while coordinating the LinQlab staff for systems under test as well as active development environments. The LinQlab team supports varying technical domains: 5G, SATCOM, cloud-native application development, DevSecOps, automation, and networking. You will be expected to provide technical expertise for the networking domain alongside growing to understand the other technical domains listed above to further drive LinQlab’s growth and development for its customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect and organize unique on-premises multi-tenancy solutions across technical domains

  • Work with program team leads to identify short and long-term priorities

  • Orchestrate LinQlab team members roles and responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain network solutions

  • Understand modern developments across technical domains to drive development

  • Create/update architecture and procedure documentation

Work Environment:

  • Travel Requirements: Minimal

  • Working Hours: Standard

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Ability to obtain Secret clearance

  • 10 years or more networking experience

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, network engineering, or related field

  • Proficient with Linux (Ubuntu, RHEL, Etc.)

  • Network and machine virtualization

  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

Desired:

  • Experience in a technical team lead role

  • Experience with scripting and automation

  • Experience with supporting Kubernetes solutions

  • Experience with interfacing with DevSecOps solutions

  • Security+

  • Cisco CCNA or equivalent

  • Familiar with 5G concepts/protocols
