Overview

Quincy Medical Group (QMG) has an exciting opportunity for an RN Circulator to join our team. QMG is a multi-specialty group practice with more than 155 physicians and providers in West Central Illinois, Southeast Iowa, and Northeast Missouri. Responsibilities

The RN Circulator plays a key role in supporting surgeries and procedures by gathering supplies, maintaining sterile fields, and anticipating the needs of the surgical team. Responsibilities include accurate documentation, updating preference cards, reporting equipment issues, and participating in inventory management. This role involves mentoring new staff, performing patient assessments, and contributing to meetings and training sessions. Strong communication, leadership, and attention to detail are essential. This is an hourly, non-exempt position. Normal work schedule is Monday through Friday. Work location is in Quincy, IL.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated skills and experience including excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, critical thinking, and knowledge of surgical procedures, anatomy, and physiology. Attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols and procedures to ensure patient safety. Professionalism and adaptability when working with patients and the surgical team to provide the best patient care.

A current IL RN license is required. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and one year of peri-operative experience preferred.
