Veterans Disability Assessments Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. This role is responsible for reviewing medical records electronically, conducting in-person physical exams on Veterans, and documenting exam findings required by the VA. The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will not make disability determinations, treat, or prescribe medication. This position requires performing Disability Assessments on 3-5 Veterans per day on a part-time schedule (Fridays 8am-4pm). Key attributes include the ability to analyze medical data, time management skills, and proficiency in computer use. Applicants must hold a current, unrestricted NP or PA license. Benefits include training, continued support, and health insurance options.
