Notes from district:

He is a Cranston student but attends an out of district program in Coventry at the Pathways program Trudeau Center. He is in 8th grade and has a seizure disorder. His seizures have worsened; he experiences an episode every 1-2 weeks. I am told grand mal in type. The doctor has asked for a 1:1 RN/LPN to be able to administer emergency medication, place the child on Oxygen and monitor O2 Sats.
I am waiting on an updated careplan, seizure action plan and Doctor orders--and whether he would want an RN or LPN.
The child will be brought to school by family, the nurse will meet the child at school hours are 9-3. It is a full year program--they follow the school calendar in Coventry and in the summer they have a week off in July and a week in Aug.
The contact person will be Joy Pizarro RN at the Pathways program. Cranston will be billed for the service.
