Brief Description:

The Technical Project Manager has attention to detail, a sense of confidentiality and a desire for enabling continuous improvement. This position requires a high sense of accuracy, and operational standards through performance of operational process.

Responsibilities:

The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for the following:
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
  • Ensure that all vendors are delivering a quality product on-time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholder and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Ensure resource availability and allocations.
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
  • Manage project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Report and communicate to management as needed.
  • Perform risk management duties to minimize project risks.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with partners and third parties/vendors.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project.
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.
Requirements
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office, including Project, Agile Project Management.
  • Strong educational background, preferably with an automotive engineering or industrial manufacturing background.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher with electrical, software or industrial engineering or in a related field.
  • Vehicle/engineering background knowledge is required.
  • Self-motivated and a great team worker.
  • Bilingual in Mandarin or Korean is a plus.
  • Willing to travel abroad as needed.
  • Travel up to 15%.

Compensation and Benefits:

Compensation for the position will be in the range of $70,000 to $100,000 per year. Qualified candidates will generally work a 40-hour work week.
