Job Title: Assembler

Job Description

Join our team as an Assembler where you will play a key role in assembling gear reducers, gear motors, and other drive components for a wide range of conveyors. This position involves working with various hand and power tools to ensure high-quality production and performance of our products.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble gear reducers, gear motors, and other drive components according to work orders.

  • Utilize hand and power tools such as screwdrivers, drills, and wrenches.

  • Perform quality checks and test assembled units to ensure proper functionality.

  • Work collaboratively with the Production Support team to ensure all necessary parts are available for assembly.

Essential Skills

  • 6+ months of assembly experience with larger parts or equivalent experience (e.g., working on cars as a hobby).

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs multiple times a day.

  • Ability to remain on feet for 8-10 hours a day.

  • Willingness to work mandatory overtime when required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Good hand-eye coordination.

  • Ability to follow detailed instructions.

  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is a plus.

Work Environment

You will work at a well-equipped workstation in a new, clean facility that recently underwent expansion. The work environment includes a brand-new automated paint line system. The facility is climate controlled but may get hot during summer months. The noise level is moderate. Strict non-smoking policy on site. Required attire includes steel-toe boots, safety glasses, and appropriate clothing (shorts or pants with no holes or tears).

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waunakee, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00
