(BCI) is excited to invite qualified candidates to apply for the role of Therapist for the Treatment for Individuals Experiencing Homelessness (TIEH) project that want to work with individuals experiencing homelessness to address Mental Health (MH), and Substance Abuse (SA) issues by providing accessible client-centered, cost-effective, and quality outcome-based care. These services will be provided primarily in the community. The Therapist will provide crisis intervention, as needed, conduct screenings, assessments, and collaborate with other TIEH staff to collect NOMs data. Therapeutic services are intended to improve overall mental health and/or harm reduction for persons experiencing mental illness, substance use or co-occurring disorders, with the goal of improving overall wellness. The Therapist will practice in an ethical manner, treat colleagues or persons served with respect and dignity. The Therapist will provide services wherever the person served is comfortable in a community environment or an office. This position is funded by revenue appropriated by contract and your employment is contingent upon continued funding of this position. Applicants must be outgoing and enjoy working with the public, professional, and para-professional team.
