Key Points:
  • This position is onsite daily in the Clear Lake area
  • It is a junior position, for candidates with 1-2 years of experience in data management
  • It will involve creating PowerPoint presentations, coordinating meetings, and general data management and support for the data management team
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and creative Data Management Associate with a flair for visual storytelling and a keen eye for detail. This role will provide essential support to the Data Management & Strategy team, aiding in data analysis, creating compelling presentations, organizing team meetings, and coordinating various team projects.

The ideal candidate will have advanced PowerPoint skills, an aptitude for project coordination, and a marketing mindset to help present data and insights in engaging and impactful ways. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop foundational data management skills in a dynamic environment.

This position will provide opportunities for training, mentorship, and skill development in data management and presentation skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • PowerPoint Presentation Development
    • Design and produce high-quality, visually compelling presentations that communicate data insights and strategic narratives.
    • Utilize advanced PowerPoint features (animations, charts, infographics) to ensure presentations are engaging, clear, and aligned with brand standards.
    • Continuously enhance presentation templates and materials for consistency and impact.
  • Data Meeting Coordination and Organization
    • Organize and facilitate team meetings such as Data Council Meetings & related forums, including scheduling, preparing agendas, managing action items, and taking minutes.
    • Support the team in preparing presentations, client meetings, and internal reviews, ensuring all necessary materials and data are available.
    • Track and follow up on meeting deliverables to ensure timely completion and accountability.
  • Data Management Support
    • Assist in collecting, cleaning, and validating data for reporting and analytics purposes.
    • Maintain data accuracy and integrity across projects, ensuring data is organized and accessible.
    • Collaborate with senior data analysts and other team members to support data preparation for analysis and reporting.
  • Team Coordination
    • Coordinate tasks, project timelines, and documentation for the Data Management team.
    • Maintain organizational systems to streamline workflows, track project statuses, and support communication within the team.
    • Provide administrative and logistical support as needed, facilitating cross-functional collaboration.
  • Creative and Marketing Support
    • Work with the team to develop data literacy and fluency materials that present data in a visually appealing and accessible way for non-technical audiences.
    • Contribute to the development of dashboards, infographics, and other visual tools that help tell the story behind the data.
    • Apply a creative and audience-centric approach to data presentations, keeping the end-user experience in mind.

Qualifications:
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Data Management, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience
    • 1-2 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in data management, marketing, or an analytical support function.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, including design and layout, animations, and use of templates.
    • Familiarity with data visualization tools like Qlik or Power BI is a plus.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word, with strong formatting and data organization skills.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Highly detail-oriented with exceptional organizational abilities.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to create clear documentation and presentations.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
