Summary:
The physician experience liaison is responsible for contributing to the organization's goal of building and growing a positive on-campus physician experience, regardless of affiliation, for the Children's Health system. Responsible for learning, understanding and evaluating the physicians' needs individually and collectively, and understanding the on-campus physician landscape. Builds trust with physicians by providing high touch personalized customer service, and resolving issues and concerns in a timely manner. Educates physicians about the Physician Experience program as a market differentiator. This role requires an individual who can interact and influence at a highly professional level with physicians and various departments throughout CHST.
Responsibilities:
* Assists in coordinating efforts to onboard and orient physicians within assigned area of responsibility with a focus on physician experience.
* Promotes Children's projects and programs focused on enhancing the physician's well-being and experience.
* Builds deep understanding of the complex and diverse needs that physicians have navigating the Children's Health system and network and respective pain points that require ongoing solutions.
* Promotes and incorporates diversity, equity, and inclusion principles in developing physician experience in relation to our team members, patient and community population. Champions the physician voice.
* Functions as the primary liaison/contact for physicians while on campus.
* Identifies issues and concerns from referring offices and communicates them back to the hospital and practice.
* Reviews and monitors territory health volumes, utilization, market data, and physician referral patterns.
* Conducts campus rounding on physicians on a daily basis.
* Documents daily contact with physicians.
WORK EXPERIENCE
* At least 1 year Previous customer service, liaison or other experience having direct contact with physicians, or account/territory management experience with hospitals or within the healthcare industry; or previous physician / medical practice sales/marketing for a hospital, healthcare integrated delivery system, health insurance company or medically-related non-profit organization Required.
* At least 3 years Previous customer service, liaison or other experience having direct contact with physicians, or account/territory management experience with hospitals or within the healthcare industry; or previous physician / medical practice sales/marketing for a hospital, healthcare integrated delivery system, health insurance company or medically-related non-profit organization Preferred.
EDUCATION
* Four-year Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Required.
