Summary:
  • As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in a nursing home setting, you will play a crucial role in providing compassionate and quality healthcare to residents.
  • LPNs are essential members of the healthcare team, responsible for delivering direct patient care, administering medications, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of residents.

Responsibilities:
  • 1+years of experience as License Practical Nurse in Nursing home.
  • Monitor and assess residents' health status, documenting any changes or concerns.
  • Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and mobility support.
  • Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare providers, ensuring accurate dosage and timing.
  • Maintain accurate and complete medical records, documenting all nursing interventions and resident responses.
  • Report and communicate changes in residents' conditions to the appropriate team members.
  • Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide first aid as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team in emergency situations to ensure resident safety.

Education:
  • Current LPN license in MI.
  • Completion of an accredited practical nursing program.
  • Previous experience in Nursing Home.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Knowledge of LTAC nursing practices and protocols.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Compassion, empathy, and a commitment to providing high-quality care.

License/Certification:
  • State license (MI)
  • BLS from AHA
  • Covid Fully Vaccinated
