Position Overview

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for pediatric dentistry, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality care. At Bear Brook Pediatric Dentistry, we take pride in offering specialized treatments such as tethered oral tissues treatments and airway-focused dentistry. As a dental hygienist at Bear Brook, you will not only be part of providing top-notch preventative dental care for children but also play a key role in our specialized treatments for tethered oral tissues.

Location: Montvale, NJ (near Upper Saddle River)

Schedule: Both Full-Time and Part-Time positions available

Hours: 10:30 am - 6:30 pm

Days: Candidate can choose one or more from the following days

  • Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and some Saturdays

Full-Time Availability: Can add more days in addition to the days offered above if willing to work at both of our Hoboken and Montvale clinics

Responsibilities:

  • Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning teeth and applying fluoride treatments
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide recommendations for at-home care
  • Take dental X-rays using state-of-the-art technology (NOMAD 2 handheld digital X-ray)
  • Sterilize dental instruments and disinfect treatment areas
  • Document patient charts accurately

Qualifications:

  • NJ Registered Dental Hygienist License (RDH)
  • NJ X-ray license
  • Experience in pediatric dentistry preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment
