Procurement/Purchasing Agent Position : Procurement/Purchasing Agent Department: Production Control Location : Hutto, Texas Company Overview: Seoyon E-Hwa Texas is a top-rated automotive parts manufacturing company specializing in interior automotive parts utilizing precision injection molding solutions. Dedicated to innovation and excellence, our primary focus involves offering Tier 1 manufacturing support to the automotive OEMs. As we expand our operations, we are searching for a talented and experienced Procurement/Purchasing Agent to manage the purchasing of material and equipment at their new Hutto TX location. Summary of position: This position will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process by establishing purchasing processes to support the Production Department. They will establish and maintain long-term relationships with our suppliers and vendors. They will manage delivery schedules ensuring we receive the highest quality materials that meet our standards. The individual will work closely with cross functional teams to verify pricing, payment terms and supply of materials are correct. Responsibilities Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts and review reliability and capability of vendors and suppliers Procure and purchase material and equipment securing the most cost-effective options Monitor inventory levels and forecast future purchasing needs preventing inventory shortages or overages Maintain accurate records and documentation of purchases, pricing, vendor information and payments Maintain continuous evaluation of suppliers and vendors performance and establish improvement strategies if needed Process purchase orders and obtain proper approvals for purchases Monitor delivery schedules and provide updates to the production department Strategize alternative suppliers in the event of supply chain interruption Oversee planning, delivery schedules and financial projections of purchases Review materials for accuracy upon receipt and maintain discrepancy reports Develop, manage and maintain material review processes Verify material received is the correct quantity ordered, is received on time, is free from defects, and meets our quality specifications Coordinate with the accounting department to review and approve invoices and payment schedule Supervise the return of non-conformance materials and coordinate with the accounting department for any credits Correspond with vendors and suppliers on over/under shipments Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree 2+ years of relevant experience in procurement/purchasing environment ```{=html} ``` - Demonstrated systematic problem-solving and troubleshooting skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent time management skills - Excellent communication skills and exceptional attention to detail - Strong skills in managing projects and resolving issues effectively - Actively seeks areas for improvement and provides solutions Benefits Medical Dental Vision 401K STD/LTD Life Insurance Paid Time Off Salary range for this position is between $65,000 and $70,000 depending on experience *Seoyon E-Hwa Texas Inc. isan equal opportunity employer, and *
