Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel - Ultrasound Tech - Echo

Shift: Variable Days / start times 6:30a, 7:30a (8x5) 40 hours per week, M-F

Length: 13 weeks

Weekend Rotation: Every 6 to 7 weekends
On-call : Every 4th weekend, Saturday and Sunday only, 7am-12pm
Holidays : no major holidays

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years Cardiac in a large hospital setting
  • Graduation from an accredited Non-Invasive Cardiology Technology program
  • Knowledge of electrocardiography and arrhythmias and conduction disturbances
  • Knowledge of sterile technique
  • Knowledge of how to use defibrillator and crash cart
  • BLS
  • RDCS and ARDMS

Other Details:

  • Knowledge of mathematical principals including algebra
  • Ability to effectively perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation
  • Ability to work effectively with critically ill/injured adult patients
  • Ability to gain optimal cooperation from adult patients
  • Ability to recognize and properly deal with medical emergencies
  • Ability to recognize and report equipment problems and malfunctions
  • Ability to carry out basic clerical activities
  • Knowledge of all
