Potential employment opportunities exist for the new Oshkosh Defense facility in Spartanburg:
Maintenance Technician I
Maintenance Tech I will perform routine and preventative maintenance checks and repairs. Responsibilities also include supporting production lines, upkeep of the building, and assisting maintenance technicians (all levels) in troubleshooting and repairs.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to become forklift certified.
- At least six months of applicable position experience
- Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
- Fundamental computer, math, and reading skills.
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to an ever-changing environment and processes.
- Must be able to follow established methods and procedures and perform work accordingly.
- Ability to communicate with leadership and fellow team members in both written and verbal forms at a level above standard.
- Experience in automotive manufacturing

Hourly Pay for Production Positions Range from $23.43 - $35.01 (depending upon role/experience)
