Adventist HealthCare Cardiac Associates seeks to hire an experienced Nurse Practitioner for our locations in Rockville, Germantown and Silver Spring who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing.
As a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner you will:
• Provide outpatient care at our Rockville, Germantown, and Silver Spring physician practices.
• Will be responsible for providing follow-up visits to general cardiology and electrophysiology patients
• Work in collaboration with a physician led team.
• Provide consults and inpatient care at Shady Grove Medical Center once a week
• Effectively communicate with site staff
Qualifications Include:
• Master's degree, and postgraduate training in a clinical specialty are required
• At least 2 years clinical experience as a nurse practitioner with cardiology experience, strongly preferred
• Licensed as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse by the State of Maryland
• Current Maryland license from the Board of Nursing
• Board certification required.
• Maintains eligibility to participate in the Medicare Program
Work Schedule:
- Able to care for young adult, adult, and geriatric patients in an office-based setting.
- Participates in a rotating weekend call coverage schedule
- Weekday shifts, M-F

Tobacco and Drug Statement

Adventist HealthCare will withdraw offers of employment to applicants who test positive for Cotinine (nicotine) and marijuana. Those testing positive are given the opportunity to re-apply in 90 days, if they can truthfully attest that they have not used any nicotine products in the past ninety (90) days and successfully pass follow-up testing. ("Nicotine products" include, but are not limited to: cigarettes, cigars, pipes, chewing tobacco, e-cigarettes, vaping products, hookah, and nicotine replacement products (e.g., nicotine gum, nicotine patches, nicotine lozenges, etc.).
