Posting End Date: November 20, 2024 Employee Type: Regular-Full time Union/Non: This is a non-union position We are hiring an Engineer IV who will provide technical expertise to ensure Enbridge's compliance with air permitting regulations and minimize environmental impact. The Engineer will serve as a liaison with governmental agencies and coordinate consultants or contractors, while also consulting on a wide range of air issues and independently handle environmental tasks. Apply today Here's what you will do: Execute air compliance monitoring and reporting activities for company assets in the following business units: Natural Gas Transmission Liquids Pipelines Gas Distribution, production and, gathering and boosting. Provide guidance and relevant written resources or support materials for company facilities. Create, update, and implement various air compliance documents, contract specifications, technical resource documents, manuals and similar. Develop and coordinate Company environmental awareness initiatives, training programs, and ongoing outreach efforts, materials, and resources relating to air compliance. Coordinate and direct preparation, implementation due diligence reviews for acquisitions/divestiture. Develop and manage PSD, NNSR, Title V and state operating permitting and compliance approaches, develop appropriate monitoring procedures, and prepare necessary regulatory reports. Review and interpret existing and emerging regulations or industry efforts and develop Company response to them. Complete emission inventories and greenhouse gas reports for transmission sites, basins, production facilities, Complete annual and semiannual air compliance reporting at facilities and participate in internal environment related audits. Present and strategically communicate air issues both upward and laterally within the organization. Independently work with operations, projects, and field services to ensure that equipment and processes implemented meet air compliance requirements. Act as Air Compliance knowledge resource for field environment, operations personnel, and other stakeholders. Support external and internal stakeholders, as required, related to data requests, review of potential impacts to operations and development of emission compliance plans. Efficiently manage dollars spent on environmental controls and environmental compliance measures. Research and develop resources that create timely and efficient workflows. Who you are: You have: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a minimum of 6 or more years of air permittingcompliance experience, preferably in pipeline/production, industry, infrastructure sectors. Knowledge of air permitting and compliance procedures and processes across multiple states for minor sources, major sources, operating permits, PSD permitting and Non-Attainment New Source Review permits. Familiarity with best management practices for environmental protection. Computer skills using Microsoft Office products. Strong interpersonal skills. A high level of personal and professional integrity and commitment to Enbridge's values. You are: Able to communicate, orally and written, to a wide variety of people, including employees, management, and regulatory agencies. Able to handle multiple tasks and to work with minimal supervision. A self-starter with strong written and oral communication skills, focused internally and externally at all levels.
