Guardian Agriculture Reaps $20 Million In New Funding

SUMMARY:

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer who will be instrumental in the design and maintenance of our build pipelines and developer tooling. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery or deployment (CD) pipelines, cloud and Linux system administration.

What You Will Do:
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of infrastructure software that supports our agricultural drones.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software developers, and product managers, to achieve project goals.
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation of designs, processes, and testing procedures.

To Be Successful You Will Have:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in a DevOps, software development, or system administration role
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, git, docker, shell, groovy)
  • Strong understanding of building and maintaining cloud infrastructure through Terraform
  • Understanding of Linux/Unix system administration, such as Debian package creation and management
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work on complex technical challenges.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in Python

Nice to have skills:
  • Experience in the agricultural and/or drone industry.
  • Knowledge of robotics and automation technologies.
  • Embedded Linux toolchains (Yocto)
  • Proficiency in Rust
