Role Overview: We are currently recruiting for a Data Scientist to join a renowned private equity firm's data science team. In this role, you will play a key role in driving operational value through data-driven insights and analysis. The ideal candidate will have experience in private investment, operational value creation, and pricing or demand forecasting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with investment teams to leverage data and analytics for driving operational value across portfolio companies.
  • Conduct analysis and develop models to support investment decisions and identify value creation opportunities.
  • Utilize data to drive insights into pricing strategies, demand forecasting, and operational efficiencies.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven solutions and initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in a data science or analytics role, preferably within the private equity or investment management industry.
  • Strong understanding of private investment principles and operational value creation strategies.
  • Experience with pricing analysis, demand forecasting, and other quantitative modeling techniques.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R; experience with SQL and data visualization tools.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Proven track record of driving operational value through data-driven initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree or higher in a relevant field.
  • Experience working in a private equity firm or similar investment environment.
  • Knowledge of machine learning techniques and advanced statistical analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic and collaborative work environment.
