  • Event Planning and Coordination: Develop the ability to plan, organize, and execute student engagement events, including managing logistics and evaluating outcomes.
  • Communication and Outreach: Enhance skills in creating and implementing communication strategies, drafting promotional materials, and managing outreach efforts.
  • Administrative Skills: Acquire proficiency in general administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and scheduling, contributing to efficient office operations.
  • Client Assistance and Customer Service: Gain experience in providing excellent customer service, including assisting clients with respect and empathy in a food pantry setting.
  • Inventory Management: Develop skills in managing inventory, including receiving and organizing donations, restocking shelves, and implementing inventory control measures.
  • Data Management and Reporting: Learn to maintain accurate records and generate reports related to pantry usage and engagement initiatives, aiding in data-driven decision-making.
  • Feedback Collection and Evaluation: Develop skills in collecting and analyzing feedback to improve student engagement programs and pantry operations.
  • Team Collaboration and Problem Solving: Enhance abilities to work collaboratively with team members, solve problems, and contribute to a positive team environment.
  • Consistently maintain 6 credit hours each semester;
  • Maintain satisfactory academic progress;
  • Adhere to College's confidentiality policy;
  • Successfully pass background/drug screening;
  • Answer phone and take messages;
  • Clerical duties such as filing, data entry, copying and faxing;
  • Open and sort mail;
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills;
  • Willingness to learn new technology;
  • Assist with special projects;
  • Other duties as assigned.
