Ultrasound Technologist

MLR (MLee Recruiting) is seeking a full-time, permanent, direct-hire Ultrasound to join a dynamic team at an established acute-care hospital located near Abilene, Texas

Pay:$61,000 per year $85,000 per year

Ultrasound Technologist Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Preparation: Prepare and position patients for ultrasound procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality images of internal structures.
  • Schedule: 3x12s 8:30am 8:30pm/ Thursday-Saturday
  • Image Analysis: Analyze and interpret ultrasound images to assist in diagnosing conditions and guiding treatments.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of patient history, procedures, and diagnostic results.
  • Collaboration: Work with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to discuss findings and contribute to care plans.
  • Maintenance: Ensure ultrasound equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and report any issues.
  • Patient Education: Explain procedures to patients, address their questions, and provide follow-up care instructions.
Ultrasound Tech Requirements:
  • Graduate of accredited Radiology or Ultrasound program.
  • 1 Year in Ultrasound
  • ARRT, or ARDMS
  • Provider basic cardiac life support
  • Texas Medical Board-MRT or ARDMS
  • Maintains professional appearance at all times.
  • Ability to handle confidential information.
