Summary The IT Training Manager is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of comprehensive IT training programs within the organization. They will collaborate with various departments and ensure that employees have the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively utilize technology tools and systems. The Training Manager will also assess training needs, design training strategies, and evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives. The IT Training Manager is also responsible for ensuring the IT department is compliant on completing training assignments. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to identify training needs, develop curriculum, and evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives. Responsibilities Collaborate with the IT department and management to identify training needs and gaps within the organization. Develop comprehensive training programs that address the identified needs and align with the organization's IT strategy. Create training materials, including presentations, manuals, videos, and online resources, to support the delivery of training programs. Conduct training sessions through various delivery methods, including in-person workshops, virtual classrooms, and e-learning platforms. Coordinate training schedules and logistics to ensure timely and efficient delivery of training programs. Adapt training methods and materials to accommodate different learning styles and preferences. Conduct training sessions, workshops, and seminars to educate employees on various IT topics, such as software applications, hardware systems, cybersecurity, and IT best practices. Offer practical, hands-on training to employees to ensure they can apply their knowledge effectively. Assess the effectiveness of training programs through surveys, feedback, and performance evaluations, and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes. Work closely with the IT department to understand new technologies, systems, and updates, and incorporate them into training programs. Ensure that training materials and resources are up to date, relevant, and easily accessible to trainers and employees. Work closely with subject matter experts to develop specialized training content for specific technical domains. Lead new employee IT orientation, assess, and evaluate updates to the IT orientation process. Oversee Role-Based Curriculums for IT by working with various groups within the organization. Oversee the IT Training Compliance Monitoring assuring the IT department completes there assigned trainings. Qualifications: Successful candidates will be able to meet the qualifications below with or without a reasonable accommodation. Education Qualifications (from an accredited college or university) Bachelor's Degree Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field required Experience Qualifications 4 or More Years Experience Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT training or a similar role, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory position or similar position. required 1 or More Years Minimum 2 years designing and delivering IT training programs, preferably in a leadership or managerial role or similar. required 1 or More Years Minimum 2 years leading and managing a team of trainers, providing guidance, support, and feedback, or similar role required Physical Requirements.
