Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our dynamic respiratory care team. In this role, you will provide high-quality respiratory therapy to patients of all ages, working closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' respiratory status and needs.
- Administer therapeutic procedures and treatments, including oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and ventilator management.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and their families on respiratory care techniques and equipment usage.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient assessments and treatments.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to safety protocols.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current Ohio Respiratory Care License.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) preferred.
- Previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not required; new graduates are welcome to apply.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
