System Administrator (DGS-X)Langley, VA Requires US Citizenship Employment Term and Type: Regular, Full Time Required Security Clearance: TS/SCI Required Education: High School or Equivalent Job Description: Provide general administration for servers running Microsoft Windows and UNIX-based operating systems, for the Air Force DCGS Experimental enclave (DGS-X), Langley AFB, VA. Non-daytime shiftwork required. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Perform Core Service system administration for Langley AFB including, but not limited to, network storage, print services, back-up services as well as maintaining security groups, systems, and user accounts in active directory (AD) Provide Tier-3 support and troubleshooting for client Windows and Linux/Unix system issues. Remotely manage, administer, and maintain Virtualization Server Suite (VSS) at all five DGS Sites Update and patch Operating Systems and software on servers to maintain STIG and SCAP security compliance Provide technical solutions, security documentation, and implementation plans for newly acquired systems. Coordinate/Complete CPU System Required Documents (CSRDs) and Problem Reports (PRs) Coordinate/Complete CPU System Required Documents (CSRDs) and Problem Reports (PRs) Required Qualifications: Two years experience performing core systems administration, including user accounts management using Active Directory and network storage DoD 8570 certified, IAT Level II One year of Linux/Unix experience Communicate effectively orally and in writing Project strong customer focus Physical Requirements: Sitting (50%), Standing (10%), Walking (5%), Grasping (60%), Reaching (10%), Near Acuity (50%), Speaking (100%), Listening (100%), Sight (100%), Use of Hands/Fingers (75%), Color Determination (100%) This position description is not intended as, nor should it be construed as, exhaustive of all responsibilities, skills, efforts or working conditions associated with this job.
