Sutter Health is seeking a Radiation Therapist for a per-diem staff position at Sutter Solano Medical Center. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing routine and specialized radiation treatments to patients, in accordance with physician's treatment plans. This role requires you to work independently, with minimal supervision, and utilize your clinical skills to deliver accurate results in a timely manner. You will need excellent communication skills to interact with patients, their families, and other healthcare providers. Your responsibilities will also include ensuring adherence to regulations, codes, policies, and procedures along with providing optimal patient care.

• Required Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an accredited Radiation Therapy Program
  • ARRT Radiography certification from American Register of Radiologic Technologists
  • RHTT-Therapeutic Radiologic Technology by the Radiologic Health Branch OR RHA-Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiologic Technology by the Radiologic Health Branch certification
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification
  • 2 years of recent relevant experience in Radiation Therapy
  • General knowledge of radiation therapy principles, procedures, views, and equipment, including some experience responding to traumas and various hospital emergencies
  • Basic understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
  • Prioritization and time management skills, including the ability to work within established procedures and scientific methods to achieve objectives and meet deadlines
  • General knowledge of computer applications like Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and related information systems (RIS, LIS, EHR, EPIC, and PACS)
• Shifts: Per diem/casual position with day shifts (8 hours) from Monday through Friday
• Location: Sutter Solano Medical Center, Crockett, California
• Salary: $62.58 to $87.60 per hour
