ABOUT CASCADE:
Cascade Community Healthcare (CCH) has been providing treatment services to Lewis County and surrounding areas for more than 50 years. Our mission is to provide our clients with compassionate and encouraging counseling leading to a renewed sense of hope and the ability to make positive changes and live more satisfying lives. Cascade currently has five treatment locations in Lewis County.
We are seeking to fill a position for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner that will treat adult and child and adolescent populations. Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners at Cascade provide psychiatric medical services including but not limited to assessments, consultations, medication monitoring, medication management, treatment coordination and consultation with clinicians.
SHIFT AVAILABLE:
This position will normally require that the employee work a standard, forty (40) hour week. This position is classified as being "exempt" according to the Fair Labor Standards Act.
WHAT YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB DONE:
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing required.
- Must be licensed to work in Washington State as an Advanced Practice Nurse, and a Registered Nurse.
- Experience providing direct client care to persons receiving treatment for psychiatric disorders required.
- Must be able to pass Washington State background checks, a national background check may be required if haven't lived in WA state consecutively the last three years.
- Must have a valid DEA number, unrestricted DEA in Washington.
- Must have current psychiatric nursing certification (for example: ANCC Certification).
- Must have current BLS certificate.
- Must be able to represent the agency in a positive and professional manner.
- Must be able to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
- Must be able record information into a computer network system.
- Must comply with agency policies and procedures.
- Must maintain current home telephone and address on file with the human resources office.
- Provide psychiatric services to clients during scheduled hours. Scope of services includes outpatient psychiatric evaluations and medication management services.
- Provides treatment planning services for assigned clients.
- Collaborate with nursing staff, clinicians, and other treatment team members to coordinate client care.
- Coordinates treatment services with agency programs, other relevant agencies and others involved in the client's life, i.e., family, friends, employer, and others the client may choose.
- Maintains records and reports in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
- Meets direct service productivity requirements as assigned by the program manager/director.
- Participates in supervision, consultation, and training at the direction of the supervisor.
- Coordinate client data processing procedures and provides consultation to Cascade staff, including primary clinician, regarding patient care as needed.
- Cascade is an eligible employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program. Cascade is also an approved site for Washington Health Corps - State Health Program, Behavioral Health Program, and the Federal Health Program
