About the Job:
The Radiology Operation Supervisor, reporting to the Director of Radiology, performs work associated with and provides direct oversight of the file room, radiology scheduling coordinators, and all non-clinical operations within the Radiology Department. They also assist the Director of Radiology with departmental operations including, but not limited to, scheduling, data tracking, record keeping, invoicing, supply ordering, payroll, patient screenings, communications with provider offices, annual events, and other non-clinical tasks.
What You'll Do:
- Ability to perform all non-clinical duties within the Radiology Operations Department (File room and radiology scheduling coordinator).
- Demonstrates proficiency with computer systems such as EMR, Life Image, PACSCube, PACS RIS, Soarian (Clinicals, Financials, Scheduling).
- Supervise, motivate, and leads others.
- Perform phone interviews to screen MRI patients using the appropriate questionnaires.
- Additionally, they support radiology modalities with duties including, annual fit testing, assist MRI with pacemaker compatibility research, CT out-patient lab work reminder phone calls and verification of completed CT labs.
- High School Diploma
- Formal understanding of the administrative and clinical functions of an office practice.
- Minimum of 5 years of related exp in a medical practice or office.
- Supervisory exp preferred
