Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Veterinary Technician at Beaver Brook Animal Hospital in Wethersfield, CT. As a Veterinary Technician, you will be responsible for providing compassionate care to animals, assisting in surgical procedures, performing lab tests, administering medications, and educating pet owners on proper pet care. You will work closely with our veterinarians and support staff to ensure the well-being of our animal patients.

Qualifications

• Animal Care and Pet Care skills
• Experience as a Veterinary Technician or in a similar role
• Knowledge of veterinary technology and procedures
• Client Education skills
• Experience in anesthesiology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Certification as a Veterinary Technician is a plus
• Experience with exotic animals is a plus
