Precise has developed a line of "Collaborative" robots that possess the unique ability to work alongside humans without causing harm in the event of a collision. This technology places collaborative robotics at the forefront of the rapidly growing robot market. We are excited to have a new member join our Precise team in Livermore, California.

What you'll do:

• Perform manufacturing operations related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final system assemblies.

• Work with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks as well as conducting experiments.

• Determine or assist in developing methods and procedures from blueprints, drawings, and/or diagrams to control or modify the manufacturing process.

• Prepare technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems.

• Provide guidance to other non-exempt personnel and may lead or supervise activities within a team lead function.

• Follow established procedures, processes, or policies.

• Resolve problems with assistance from peers or supervisor depending on the level and complexity.

What you'll bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, or related field preferred.

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, preferably in a high-tech industry.

• Excellent understanding of manufacturing processes and principles.

• Experience in conducting experiments, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Proficiency in using sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data.

• Proficient in the use of sophisticated programs and tools to collect and evaluate operating data.

• Demonstrated ability to mentor and transfer knowledge to more junior staff members.

• Ability to exercise judgment in interpreting procedures and practices and in recommending changes.

• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.

• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
