The Grant Site Supervisor is responsible for the overall management and supervision of a YMCA grant-funded program site. This role involves ensuring that the program meets all grant requirements, supports the academic, physical, and social development of participants, and aligns with YMCA values. The Grant Site Supervisor will lead and manage staff, maintain a safe and engaging environment, and foster positive relationships with parents, school staff, and the community. Location available throughout Downtown and Eastside of Fort Worth.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and oversee the day-to-day operations of the grant-funded program.
- Ensure that program activities are in line with grant objectives and YMCA standards.
- Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, adjusting as needed to meet participant needs and grant requirements.
- Recruit, hire, train, and supervise program staff and volunteers.
- Conduct regular staff meetings and performance evaluations, providing ongoing professional development and support.
- Ensure staff compliance with YMCA policies, procedures, and grant requirements.
- Maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for all children.
- Ensure proper supervision ratios are maintained at all times.
- Address and resolve any behavioral issues or incidents promptly and effectively.
- Ensure all aspects of the program comply with grant requirements and YMCA policies.
- Maintain accurate records, including attendance, incident reports, and program evaluations.
- Prepare and submit timely reports on program activities and outcomes as required by the grant.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and any program updates.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with school personnel and community partners.
- Coordinate and participate in family engagement activities and events.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- Physical ability to participate in activities with children, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Minimum age: 21 years of age; Education: High School Diploma/ G.E.D. or higher
- Course work in Child Development, Recreation, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in a youth program setting.
- Experience working with children in a recreational or educational environment, particularly in grant-funded programs.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and program management software.
- CPR and First Aid certification (required or willing to obtain 30 days upon hired).
- Background check clearance.
