About Us: Hi. We’re New Horizons In-Home Care. We’re looking to hire an IT Director to join our award-winning, people-first in-home care company. We are looking for an experienced IT Director to help drive our technological strategy and operations.

Job Description:

The IT Director will be responsible for the overall planning, organizing, and execution of all IT functions to ensure our operations are efficient, secure, and scalable. You will oversee the technological infrastructure of our organization to ensure it aligns with our business goals. This includes managing our network, directing all IT infrastructure, managing backups & server health, and collaborating with technology partners to create efficiency across the company.

Key Responsibilities:

IT Operations and Strategy:

  • Oversee all aspects of information technology management and control.

  • Direct IT operations to support the agency's requirements, including the maintenance of existing applications and the development of new technical solutions.

  • Recommend and manage technical partnerships to enhance the agency's IT capabilities.

System and Application Management:

  • Design and deploy new applications and enhancements to existing applications, software, and operating systems.

  • Ensure smooth and reliable operation of software and systems to fulfill business objectives and processes.

  • Ensure system connectivity and security of all servers, storage, redundancy, and other applications.

System Performance and Improvement:

  • Evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems; develop and implement strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.

Security and Compliance:

  • Design and perform server and security audits, system backup procedures, and other recovery processes in accordance with the company's disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.

  • Ensure compliance with data security regulations and company policies.

Documentation and Testing:

  • Create and maintain documentation related to system configuration, mapping, processes, and service records.

  • Ensure compatibility and interoperability of in-house computing systems as time and changes progress.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in IT management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably within the healthcare industry.

  • Preferred knowledge of healthcare IT systems and applications.

  • Strong understanding of data security regulations and compliance requirements (e.g., HIPAA).

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to analyze complex problems, develop actionable solutions, and drive change.

  • Certification in relevant IT and healthcare technologies is a plus.

  • This is not a remote position: must be able to reliably commute to corporate office in Eugene, OR
