Electrical Superintindent

The role of Electrical Superintendent in Irving, TX, US involves overseeing, organizing, and managing all electrical crew members onsite in collaboration with the designated project manager. Reporting directly to the General Superintendent, the Electrical Superintendent in Irving, TX, US is responsible for coordinating and supervising all activities related to electrical work on the specific project. Responsibilities: • Coordinate and assign project tasks to electrical crew members in Irving, TX to ensure smooth project workflow • Assess construction methods, labor requirements, material quantities, and equipment needs for projects • Supervise and evaluate crew members' performance to ensure adherence to project guidelines and safety protocols • Inform senior management of any potential issues and contribute to their resolution • Maintain communication with the project team, engineering, and supply chain to ensure work meets specifications and schedule • Assist in providing project progress reports to the Project Manager and other relevant departments • Collaborate with Supply Chain Management to issue purchase orders for commodities, equipment, and subcontractors • Oversee all electrical project functions, including resource planning, scheduling, safety enforcement, and timesheet management • Ensure all project tasks are completed according to specifications, schedule, and safety standards Qualifications: • State of Texas Journeyman license required • Possess a valid state-issued driver’s license • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen • Acceptable motor vehicle record • 5 years of commercial electrical experience required • Previous supervisory experience required • Knowledge of the National Electrical Code and calculations required • Microsoft Office experience preferred • Bluebeam experience preferred • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings • Possess excellent computer skills utilizing MS Office products • Strong strategic, analytical, and organizational skills • Acts with honesty and integrity • Ability to interact professionally and effectively with senior management • Ability to maintain good relationships with internal and external customers, use tact and diplomacy, and possess a customer service focus • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills • Manage multiple priorities with efficiency and accuracy • Demonstrate attention to detail • Proficient in manpower time management • Enjoy being in a dynamic job where no task is above or below you • A constant drive to improve the experience of our users and our internal processes: "How can I make things better?" • Customer empathy.
